Deputy Chief of Hamas Politburo Abroad Musa Abu Marzouq has said that the Israeli occupation is held responsible for the repercussions of its violations in Jerusalem.

In a press release, the senior Hamas official stated that the Israeli attacks on Palestinian worshipers and its violation at Al Aqsa Mosque will be met with fierce response by the Palestinian people.

Abu Marzouq noted that the silence of the Arab and Islamic states encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its violations against the Palestinians and their holy places.

He also called on the Palestinian people to respond to the Israeli attacks and mobilise support for the Palestinian defenders of Al Aqsa Mosque, hailing Jerusalemites who have been fighting off the Israeli occupation at the holy compound on behalf of the Ummah.

Abu Marzouq also called on the Arab and Islamic states to express solidarity with the Palestinians and face off the Israeli brutality.
