The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas said Monday that the Israeli occupation is carrying out an organised war crime against Muslim sacred sites and armless worshipers in Jerusalem.

In a press statement, head of Hamas’ Media Division Abroad Rafat Morra pointed out that Israeli occupation forces were directly firing stun grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets at Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, putting their lives at serious risk.

Palestinian Jerusalemites have set an example of steadfastness and heroism, as they were defending their land and holy sites, Morra pointed out.

The Hamas official stressed that the Palestinian people are entitled to defend their land and sacred sites and face off the Israeli schemes and crimes committed by Israeli settler groups.
