On the Israeli violations and attacks against Palestinian worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque, Senior Hamas official Zaher Jabbarin stated the following:

We hail the Palestinian heroes who stand steadfast in the face of the Israeli occupation in Jerusalem and across the West Bank.

Now, they are engaged in a battle with the Israeli occupation to block the Zionist plans to judaise the holy city of Jerusalem.

We think that the Israeli occupation should pay the price for its crimes at Al Aqsa, as its aggression against Palestinian worshippers at the holy compound targets more than a billion Muslims who are eager to visit and fight for Al Aqsa.

We confirm the Palestinian preparedness to resist the Israeli attacks is enough to foil their plots, as they have already done before on many occasions.

Additionally, we call on the Arab and Islamic Ummah to mobilize support for Al Aqsa Mosque and side with the Jerusalemites there. The battle in Jerusalem is of the whole Ummah.
