The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas hailed on Tuesday the uprising of the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the territories occupied in 1948.
On the Palestinians’ revolution and uprising in the West Bank and territories occupied in 1948, Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh stated the following:
We hail the Palestinian people in the West Bank who have revolted against the Israeli occupation in response to its crimes at Al Aqsa Mosque, thus confirming that the Palestinians across Palestine, in Gaza, the West Bank, and the territories occupied in 1948, are united in their freedom struggle.
This unity highlights that the Palestinian people are determined to resist the Israeli occupation and establish their independent state.
The ongoing circumstances in the West Bank emphasise that the Palestinians are able to face all challenges and place the Palestinian issue again on top of the political agenda.
Additionally, we extend our regards to the Palestinian people in the territories occupied in 1948 who have launched a strike in parallel with Gaza’s resistance and the West Bank’s revolution.
