Hamas chief thanks Egypt’s president for donating $500m for Gaza
Chief of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Ismail Haniyeh thanked Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi for donating $500m to Gaza.

We express out thanks and appreciation to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi for allocating $500m for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
This is a reflection to Egypt’s national commitment towards the Palestinians and their cause who are fighting to achieve their freedom and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
We evaluate the Egyptian efforts being exerted to rein in the Zionist aggression on our people in Gaza. We also appreciate the reopening of Rafah Crossing for the entry of all kinds of assistance and commodities needed for people in Gaza.
