Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has phoned Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al‑Ahmad Al‑Jaber Al‑Sabah.

In the phone call, Haniyeh expressed his appreciation to Kuwait’s Emir, government, and people for their genuine support for the Palestinian people, particularly in Jerusalem and Gaza.

The Hamas chief also thanked His Highness also for launching a donation campaign to rebuild Gaza after a deadly Israeli offensive against the besieged enclave and reinforce the Palestinians’ steadfastness in Jerusalem.
