Hamas Spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:

The repetition of the Israeli election process and its outcomes is proof that the Israeli occupation is hit by a profound political crisis in parallel with its continuous military and security crises as a result of the growing Palestinian resistance action and the Palestinians’ steadfastness and resilience.

The structure of Israeli occupation governments will not change our approach to it as a settler-colonial entity that should be resisted with all means of resistance possible, foremost among them is armed resistance, to restore the Palestinian rights.

We are determined to enforce the equation that the Palestinian blood and holy sites are a red line and that the Israeli occupation’s behaviour on the ground will determine our field approach towards it.
