Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’ political bureau, and the movement’s leadership delegation met this afternoon, Mr. Habib al-Maliki, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, who stressed the historical relationship between Morocco and Palestine, and Morocco’s support of all levels including the king, government, parliament, and people for the Palestinian people.

The head of the Moroccan parliament confirmed that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people, pointing to the parliament's role in supporting the Palestinian right and following up on all developments related to the Palestinian cause.
