The Islamic Resistance Movement - "Hamas" denounces not listing the Zionist occupation state "Israel" in the “List of Shame” issued by the United Nations, for organizations and countries that violate the rights of children in conflict areas. 

The Movement disapproves of the insistence of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. António Guterres, not to include the name of "Israel" in the annual list issued in his name, though he held "Israel" responsible for a large number of crimes against Palestinian children, including murder, imprisonment, kidnapping and deprivation of many basic rights, and the absence of an impartial and transparent investigation into these crimes.

The latest crimes of the occupation state including killing 66 children in Gaza during the last aggression and the daily scene of killing children and dragging them at the crossings in the West Bank is sufficient alone to include Israel in the “List of Shame”.

This biased position in favor of the occupation at the expense of justice and the rights of the victims, not only exempts Israel from punishment for the crimes committed but also gives it the green light to continue the crimes and violations of all international laws.

We demand the Secretary-General correct this grave mistake and add the name of the occupying state to the "List of Shame", and activate all international tools to hold "Israel" accountable for its crimes and provide protection for Palestinian children.
