Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem stated the following: 
Hamas highly appreciates the outcomes of the Palestinian Clans and Dignitaries conference in support of the Palestinian resistance and Jerusalem. 

Hamas reaffirms its full support for the conference’s final statement in support of the Palestinian resistance, the only path to restore and free the Palestinian land. 

The conference affirming the necessity of the comprehensive resistance and calling for voluntary military recruitment reflects a genuine sense of belonging to the Palestinian cause and its constants at any cost. 

We welcome the conference’s call for unifying the Palestinian position on the basis of resistance and struggle rather than the absurd negotiations, immediate forming of the unified Palestinian leadership, and the restructuring and re-arranging of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) to include all parties on the Palestinian stage. 

We endorse drawing up a unanimously agreed clan-based document that truly supports and backs the Palestinian resistance.
