Deputy Chairman of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzook confirmed that the Movement is committed to keeping the struggle against the Israeli occupation confined within occupied Palestine.
In a press release on Monday, Abu Marzook noted that despite several Israeli operations against the Movement in different countries, the Movement remained adherent to its policy and retaliated with operations inside Palestine.
He stressed that Hamas does not interfere with internal Egyptian politics nor does it support or favor any Egyptian group, maintaining that it is the Movement’s priority to guarantee the security of Egyptian borders with the Gaza Strip.
“Palestinians are affected the most by any events in Sinai. Rafah crossing is Gaza’s only connection to the outside world.” He underlined.
