The spokesman of "Hamas" Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:

The Israeli bombing of Gaza is nothing but miserable Zionist attempts to impose new equations on the resistance.
These Zionist policies will neither intimidate the Palestinian people nor their valiant resistance nor will they deter them from continuing their resistance in various forms and means in defense of the Palestinian land and sanctities and to take back their rights.

The Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for the consequences and results of the continuation of the escalation, and we trust the wisdom and ability of the valiant Palestinian resistance, especially the Qassam Brigades, in how to deal with this enemy and disrupt its arena, and to work to protect and defend our people and break the will of the occupier.
