Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem stated the following: 
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the death of Hanna Issa, secretary-general of the Islamic-Christian Commission in Support of Jerusalem and Holy Sites. 

We offer our sincere condolences and sympathies to Issa’s family and our Christian brothers in Palestine on the death of a prominent figure who served the Palestinian cause for years.
