Deputy Head of Hamas's political bureau Mousa Abu Marzook has reiterated the Movement’s adherence to a policy of non-interference towards other countries, especially Egypt.
In a press statement on Monday, Abu Marzook called for ascertaining the validity of the accusations made by Egypt's interior minister, in which said the Movement was implicated in the killing of Egypt’s prosecutor general last summer.
“Hamas is ready to cooperate and investigate to reveal the reality of these accusations,” he underlined.
He said that the accusations were made after considerable efforts had been exerted to overcome the situation in which the relations between Hamas and Egypt were.
"Definitely, such an accusation is distressing to the resistance, which has always sworn to direct its rifle at no one but the Zionist enemy," he said.
