Hamas movement strongly condemns the normalization meeting held in the Palestinian Liberation Organisation’s (PLO) headquarters in Ramallah by members of the PLO’s Executive Committee, and other ministers and officials in the PA, Majdalani, Al-Madani, and the so-called Communication Committee. 

This meeting was held in defiance of our people's national values and feelings including the detainees and families of martyrs. The organizers also turned a blind eye to the Palestinians’ enormous sacrifices, the outstanding Palestinian revolution, and resistance to the Israeli occupation’s schemes. 

Hamas assured that this behavior contradicts the major mission of the Organisation, we label this meeting as a “serious deviant behavior” that overrides the roles and responsibilities of the PLO and has serious repercussions on the Organisation and its objectives. 

Hamas confirms that the organizers of such meetings do not represent the free Palestinian people who have been making enormous sacrifices and have been engaged in fierce battles against the Israeli occupation to defend their land, rights, and sacred places. 

Hamas calls on all factions and segments of the Palestinian people to adopt a unified position against this group that occupies senior positions in the PA and PLA. Such efforts must put an end to this deviant political and national behavior, pressure them to resign, and hold them accountable for this heinous crime against the Palestinians and their freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation.
