A senior Hamas delegation headed by Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh has met with the speaker of the National Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and with several Palestinian-Iranian Friendship Committee in Tehran. 

The Hamas officials briefed their Iranian counterparts on developments concerning the Palestinian cause following the ‘Sword of Al-Quds’ battle and the movement’s endeavors to fight off Israeli colonial settlements and crimes in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and at Al-Aqsa. 

Ghalibaf in turn reiterated Iran’s unwavering position in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.
