Head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and his accompanying delegation met a delegation from the Islamic Call and Reform Group in Iran, headed by its Secretary-General, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Birani.
Hamas chief reviewed the developments of the Palestinian cause and the results of the battle "Sword of Al-Quds", the role of the nation, its peoples, and its intellectual and political elites, in supporting the Palestinian people in facing the Zionist occupation and its arbitrary measures against the Palestinian people, especially in the city of Jerusalem and its suburbs of Judaization and displacement of its people, and the occupation attempts to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.
The movement's leader touched on the danger of occupation's colonial settlement expansionist plans and annexation of Palestinian lands and the effects of the unjust siege imposed on Gaza.
The Head of Hamas affirmed the Palestinian people's steadfastness until gaining all their rights and victory over the occupier.
For his part, Dr. Al-Birani stressed the status of the Palestinian cause among the peoples of the nation and its consolidation in the conscience of the Iranian people with all its intellectual, political, and sectarian categories, and their religious, moral, and humanitarian commitment in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.
The two parties assured that the unity of the Islamic nation is the secret of its strength and the address of its glory and loftiness and that Palestine and Jerusalem are the central common cause that unites the nation in facing its common Zionist enemy.
