On desecrating the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, spokesman of Hamas Movement for the occupied city of Jerusalem, Muhammad Hamadeh stated the following:

The colonial settler's desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque while wearing the so-called 'priests of the Temple' clothes and performing their alleged rituals is a very dangerous transgression and a new violation of Al-Aqsa Mosque sanctity.

We call on our Palestinian people in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the 1948 occupied lands to be permanently present in Al-Aqsa squares to confront the occupation's violation and aggression against the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Hamas Movement affirms that the resistance is ready to repel the occupier and purify the Al-Aqsa Mosque of such defilement, and fight the occupation's attempts of imposing new realities, Judaizing and dividing of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
