Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh and his deputy Saleh al-Arouri phoned on Sunday evening member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and politburo member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Khalida Jarrar, congratulating her on her release from Israeli occupation prison. 

Haniyeh and al-Arouri stressed that the issue of Palestinian women held by the Israeli occupation is a top priority for Hamas and the Al-Qassam Brigades, who have a solemn duty to release them from Israeli occupation jails. 
The senior officials hailed Jarrar for her steadfastness and resilience under harsh circumstances and for setting an example for resistance in and out of prison. 

Haniyeh and al-Arouri also offered their sincere condolence to Jarrar on the death of her daughter, Suha, who died of a massive heart attack last July, and was denied from bidding farewell to her daughter and attending her funeral by the Israeli occupation authorities.
