Commenting on the raiding of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli settlers, Hamas spokesperson in Jerusalem Mohammed Hamada stated the following: 

We warn the Israeli occupation against allowing Israeli colonial settlers to continue storming and desecrating the Al-Aqsa Mosque. 

The Israeli occupation will gain nothing from its foolish acts except for loss and regret as the Palestinian people will not accept Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque to be defiled. 

The Palestinian martyrs, including three Jerusalemites from Biddu village, who have fallen while defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque convey a message that the Al-Aqsa compound will remain exclusively for Muslims and that Israeli colonial settlers have no right to access it.    

We warn the Israeli occupation against continuous Israeli attempts to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially.
