On the release of Palestinian parliamentarian Khalida Jarrar from Israeli occupation prison, Hamas official Ismail Redwan stated the following: 

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas offers its sincere congratulations to member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and politburo member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Khalida Jarrar, and to the PFLP on her release from Israeli occupation prisons after being jailed for two years in an attempt to break her indomitable will.

Jarrar has remained steadfast and resilient under harsh circumstances and fought the Israeli occupation, setting a model example for resistance to the occupation and commitment to national constants and doing her fellow Palestinian women proud. 

The issue of Palestinian detainees held by the Israeli occupation will remain on top of our priorities until all detainees regain their freedom.
