Deputy Chairman of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniya has called on the free peoples of the world to act decisively at all levels to break the decade-old siege on Gaza.
Haniya’s statement came in a televised speech to activists participating in an online campaign calling for lifting the Gaza siege.
He called for pressuring world leaders and the Israeli occupation to put an end to the historic injustice dealt to the population in Gaza.
“No effort should be spared to free the two million people living in a large prison.” He said.
He praised the awareness and solidarity of the activists, noting that people in the Gaza Strip appreciate highly all efforts to restore their basic human rights.
