On the International Day of Palestinian Heritage, Hamas spokesman Dr. Abdel Latif Al-Qanun stated  the following:

Our Palestinian people, annually, celebrate the "International Day of Palestinian Heritage" on the seventh of October, for the Palestinian heritage represents the real existence of our people and consolidates our historical right to our land and sanctities.

The Zionist occupation continues its attempts to obliterate the Palestinian heritage and antiquities (Islamic and Christian) to change the facts on the ground and obliterate the landmarks in an attempt to maintain its alleged entity, forged narrative, and false history.   

Our Palestinian people will continue their revolution against the Zionist occupier to preserve their national and historical heritage, confront the false Zionist narrative, and will never give up their land and their legitimate rights.

Our Palestinian heritage will remain rooted in our land, engraved in the memory of our people, and will be irrefutable proof of our people's right to our land and sanctities.
