Commenting on the occupation’s decision to allow the so-called silent prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" issued the following statement:
The occupation’s decision to allow the so-called silent prayers is an attack on religion and sanctities:
We warn against the consequences of this unlawful decision taken by the so-called occupation court, which allows the Zionists to perform their prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque yards.
This decision is blatant aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and a clear declaration of war against religion and sanctities. The occupation continues its sinister policies and plans to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially and paves the way for further incursions and desecration by the zionists.
We affirm that any aggression against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque means tampering anew with the detonators that will return to the occupation with scourge and devastation.
The battle of "Sword of Jerusalem" will not be the last confrontation for Jerusalem, and the resistance confirms its readiness to repel the aggression and defend the Palestinian rights.
We call on our Palestinian people in Jerusalem and the 1948 occupied lands to intensify their presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the occupation's partition plans and to face the increasing intrusions into Al-Aqsa Mosque.
We renew our call to the masses of the Arab and Islamic nations to take their religious and national responsibility in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is waiting for masses of liberators and not the normalizers who fearfully enter Al-Aqsa yards under the protection of the occupation.
