Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh offered his congratulations to Dr. Abdelilah Benkirane on his election as secretary-general of Morocco's Justice and Development Party (PJD). 

In a phone call, the Hamas chief wished Benkirane every success while remaining committed to Morocco's genuine positions towards the Palestinian cause and people and their well-established rights to their homeland. 

Benkirane, in return, reiterated his party’s constant stances in support of the Palestinian cause and people, thanking Haniyeh for his call.
