Commenting on Israeli crimes against Palestinian detainees documented by AlJazeera's Tip of the Iceberg, Hamas official Ismail Redwan stated the following: 

The documented crimes that the whole world saw in last night's episode of "Tip of the Iceberg" is proof of the scale of Israeli brutality and systematic terror practiced against Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation jails. 

We warn the Israeli occupation against continuing this racist, fascist, and terrorist policy perpetrated against Palestinian detainees; the Israeli occupation has to be aware of the lessons of the past. 

We salute Palestinian detainees who are facing off the Israeli jailers, particularly the detainees on a hunger strike to protest their administrative detention. We assure them that their issue is a top priority for the Palestinian resistance. 

We condemn the position of the international community which remained silent over crimes against humanity committed against Palestinian detainees. We call on human rights groups and humanitarian organizations to assume their role and put an end to these crimes. 

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has to fulfill its mandatory duty to support Palestinian detainees, put an end to such crimes, and prosecute Israeli leaders for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity. 

The leadership of Hamas and Al-Qassam Brigades renew their promise to Palestinian detainees that liberating them from Israeli occupation prisons is their duty. The Israeli occupation will cave into the conditions of the Palestinian resistance. 

The issue of Palestinian detainees is on top of the Palestinian resistance's list of priorities.
