Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh has phoned two Palestinian detainees released from Israeli jails.

In a phone call, the top Hamas official congratulated Mohammed Jaber Abdu and Majdi Al-Qubisi from Ramallah on their release from Israeli jails where they were detained for ten years.

Haniyeh also hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian detainees in the face of the Israeli occupation.

He also confirmed that the issue of the detainees remains a top priority for the movement and the Palestinian resistance.
