On remarks against normalisation, Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri stated the following:
Hamas movement hails the statements made by Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra against normalising ties with the Israeli occupation by some countries in the region. The minister also confirmed the country’s absolute rejection of any form of normalisation with the occupation.
We express our appreciation and support for such statements, for they hinder any further normalisation in the Arab region, especially in Africa
