Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa stated the following:

The ongoing hunger strike launched by five Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation jails and the deteriorating health of Palestinian detainee Kayed al-Fasfous, who has entered the 123rd day of hunger strike, require an immediate intervention to save their lives and pressure the Israeli occupation into yielding to their demands and ending their suffering, which is aggravating each day.
Palestinian detainees are capable of remaining steadfast in the face of having their unjust administrative detention extended and triumph over the Israeli occupation’s will.
We reaffirm our full solidarity with and support for Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation prisons until they achieve their demands and restore their rights; the so-called Israeli prison service has no option but to yield to the Palestinian detainees’ demands.
