Hamas official Ismail Redwan stated the following: 

Hamas highly appreciates the brave stance of the Iranian parliamentary delegation for boycotting the Inter-Parliamentary Union's meeting and leaving the session coinciding with the speech of the Zionist Knesset delegation before the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Madrid.

This position confirms the appreciated policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran that stands with our national cause, rights, and resistance of our Palestinian people, and rejects all forms of normalization with the Zionist entity.
