The Palestinian Authority has escalated its security collaboration with the Israeli occupation, Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stated on Friday.
Badran accused the Palestinian Authority of adopting a revolving door policy, where pro-intifada activists illegally detained by the PA would be released and then arrested by the Israeli occupation shortly after.
Badran noted the Israeli arrest recently of two university students from the Islamic Bloc shortly after their release from PA jails, adding that by such incidents the PA is betraying the Jerusalem intifada.
“PA’s commitment to the security collaboration with Israel is shameful, and it brings the Palestinian people a lot of suffering.” He underlined.
Badran urged all Palestinian groups to adopt a unified position against the PA's security collaboration in order to protect the resistance in the West Bank.
Israel has arrested dozens of Palestinians shortly after their release from PA jails since the Jerusalem intifada started in early October 2015.
