Hamas strongly condemned on Sunday the Palestinian Authority’s role in arresting four intifada activists in the West Bank on Saturday.

In a press statement, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that the arrests reflected the PA’s increasing collaboration with the occupation, adding that the PA and the Israeli occupation forces have recently escalated their joint efforts to curb the Jerusalem intifada and abort Palestinian resistance operations.

Abu Zuhri held PA and Fatah leaders responsible for the unholy practices of PA’s security apparatuses.

PA security forces on Saturday arrested three Palestinian activists who had been missing for 10 days, where PA sources stated that the detainees planned a large-scale resistance operation against illegal Israeli settlements.
