Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obaida commented on the shutting down of his account by Twitter last Friday.
In a press release on Saturday, Abu Obaida said that the series of closures targeting Al-Qassam’s media accounts illustrates that the Brigades had succeeded in delivering strong messages that hurt the occupation.
“Twitter’s persistence in shutting down our accounts shows that our true voices have exposed the Zionist enemy and its proxies.” He underlined.
“Twitter chose to side with the occupation, which refutes its claims of honesty and impartiality.” He added.
Abu Obaida stressed that the Brigades will continue to spread its message and reach out to millions of supporters all over the world.
On Friday, Obu Obaida’s Twitter account was taken down by Twitter after it has achieved a following of 196,000 accounts.
The move followed closure of Al-Qassam Brigades’ Arabic, English and Hebrew-speaking accounts that collectively had over 200,000 followers.
