Spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Qanuo stated the following:
Hamas welcomes the United Nations General Assembly vote on a resolution that supports the Palestinian people's right to self-determination. The overwhelming majority voted in favor of our Palestinian people's right to establish their independent state.
As Hamas commends positions of the voting countries in favor of our Palestinian people, it considers this vote a victory for the Palestinian just cause and a failure of the Zionist entity.
Hamas also reaffirms the US hostile positions against the international consensus and insistence on its flagrant bias to the occupation.
