On the killing of three Palestinians in Lebanon, Head of Hamas Abroad, Khaled Meshal, stated the following:
“Those who committed the crime of murdering Palestinians at the Burj Shemali refugee camps will be punished for their crime by law.
We all abide by the law and are protected by the Lebanese government. We have reported the names of criminals to the Lebanese authorities. Those who dare to shed the Palestinian blood don’t deserve to belong to the Palestinian people or Palestinian national forces.
We are keen on Palestinian unity that can be strengthened through consensus, protecting the Palestinian blood, and unity in confronting the Israeli occupation.
Hamas confirms that its weapons will be directed only towards the Israeli occupation and never towards any of the Palestinians. The compass of the Palestinian resistance groups will be directed towards Jerusalem and Palestine.
Palestine, Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islamic and Christian holy sites, breaking the Gaza siege, strengthening the resistance to kick out the Israeli occupation, liberation, and the right to return will remain the major concerns for Palestinians.”
