Spokesman of the Hamas Movement, Fawzi Barhoum, stated the following:

The Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas strongly condemns the Israeli occupation prison administration's continued abuse of Palestinian female detainees.
Abuse of Palestinian female detainees is a crime to be added to its record of crimes and violations against male and female prisoners in its unjust prisons.

These violations require all the Palestinian components to strongly support the rights of the Palestinian detainees in the occupation prisons and continue the struggle against the occupation with all forms and tools to end this suffering.

As we hold the occupation's prison administration responsible for any harm that befalls our Palestinian detainees, we confirm that we will not leave them alone in facing this battle.

We call upon the human rights institutions and the international community to break its silence towards the continuous Zionist aggression against our Palestinian people and the detainees inside the occupation prisons and hold them accountable for their crimes and violations.
