On the International Day of Human Solidarity, which is declared by the United Nations General Assembly on December 20, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) states the following:

Stressing the importance of human solidarity with all the peoples subjected to occupation, injustice, aggression, and all forms of racial discrimination, especially the Palestinian people who have been subjected to the longest and most dangerous continuous occupation in the world, Hamas calls for:

1. Strengthening solidarity with the Palestinian people and ending their ongoing tragedy and stopping the occupation's aggression, criminality, siege, and racial discrimination inflicted on the Palestinian people.

2. Working to criminalize the occupation's leaders and prosecute them as war criminals for their heinous crimes committed against the Palestinian land and people.

3. Expressing solidarity with the Palestinian detainees in the occupation prisons who are subjected to violations of their human rights and crimes against humanity.

4. Immediate ending of the 15-year long unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and speedy reconstruction of what has been destroyed by the recent occupation's aggression.

5. Strengthening solidarity and support for Palestinian refugees who suffer difficult humanitarian conditions as a result of the occupation's practices and the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
