The Israeli occupation prison administration attacked Palestinian female detainees in Damon prison, beating up and dragging some of them and ripping hijab off their heads, in a blatant infringement of all red lines.   

Consequently, a state of emergency was declared in all Israeli occupation jails. The Israeli occupation prison service is held responsible for the consequences and repercussions of what happened. 

Palestinian female detainees are at the core of the Palestinian cause; we will not tolerate any assault on them under any circumstances. 

On Monday, Palestinian detainee Yousef al-Mabhouh attempted to stab an Israeli prison guard as a natural and preliminary response to the Israeli occupation prison administration, which assaulted and isolated Palestinian female detainees in Damon jail. 

In light of this, we state the following:   
     
1.    Palestinian female detainees are a red line; targeting them will lead to an explosion of the situation inside and outside Israeli occupation prisons. 

2.    The preliminary response by al-Mabhouh will not be the last as long as the Israeli occupation prison service refuses to meet all of the demands of Palestinian female detainees. 

3.    We call on the Palestinian masses to dedicate next Friday to voice solidarity with Palestinian female detainees.  
   
4.    We urge the Palestinian factions and resistance movements to respond in a way that responds to the assault against Palestinian detainees in Damon and Nafha prisons. 

5.    We call on human rights groups to seriously work on finding out the fate of Palestinian detainees in Section 12 of Nafha jail, as well as al-Mabhouh's fate.
 
6.    We promise the Palestinian people and detainees that we will continue defending this issue, which is the most sacred cause in our view.
