The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns and denounces the meeting held between Palestinian Authority's President Mahmoud Abbas and the Zionist Minister of War "Benny Gantz", that coincides with the anniversary of the occupation's 2008 aggression on Gaza.

This "intimate" meeting and the exchange of gifts between the PA and the enemy army reveals once again the PA's dangerous slippage that exceeded the security coordination and targeting of the resistance to maintaining the occupation's interests in return for keeping the PA in office.

Hamas stresses that the PA must side with the Palestinian people to take practical steps that enhance our Palestinian people's strength factors to liberation from the occupation.

The Palestinian Authority no longer takes into account the Palestinian conditions, interests, and rights but rather turns its back on all national issues that serve the Palestinian people's aspirations for unity, liberation, and return.

Hamas considers this meeting a provocation to the Palestinian people who are subjected to the unjust siege in the Gaza Strip, and daily aggression that targets their land, national rights, and sanctities in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Hamas calls on the Palestinian people to declare their rejection and condemnation of this destructive approach and abysmal descent into the occupation's quagmire of surrender and the implementation of its agendas and plans.

The Palestinian people deserve an honest and loyal national leadership capable of protecting and defending their rights, national constants, and expressing their aspirations to liberation.
