Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem stated the following: 

We share the Egyptian people their sorrow for the victims of the traffic accident that took place in southern Sinai. 

We offer our sincere condolences to the Egyptian president, government, and people. 
May Allah grant patience to the victims' families on their loss. 

We wish the wounded a fast recovery and hope that the Egyptian people remain safe and well.
