The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas warned against the continuous strangulation of Gaza and the relentless Israeli measures to paralyze life in the Strip, especially the prevention of the entry of cement.

In a brief press release on Saturday, Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri declared the current status unsustainable, adding that regional and international parties must stand up to their responsibilities toward the current deterioration.

Israeli premier Netanyahu had recently decided to prevent the entry of cement shipments to the besieged Gaza Strip, thwarting reconstruction efforts and increasing the humanitarian suffering of the population in Gaza.
