On the occupation's medical negligence against the Palestinian detainee Nasser Abu Hmaid, Spokesman of Hamas Hazem Qassem stated the following:

The occupation's continued medical negligence against the Palestinian detainee Nasser Abu Hmaid is a crime that reflects the sadism of the “Zionist Prison Service” in dealing with the Palestinian detainees in the occupation prisons.

We warn the occupation against the continued policy of systematic medical negligence against the detainee Abu Hamid and all Palestinian detainees.

Hamas calls on our Palestinian people to escalate solidarity activities with the detainees, at all political, media, and humanitarian levels.

We express our full support for the detainee Nasser Abu Hamid, his family, and all the detainees who confront the Zionist jailer with their hunger strike.

We call on all human rights institutions and international humanitarian bodies for serious actions to criminalize and expose the occupation's escalating violations, crimes, and systematic medical negligence policy against the Palestinian detainees and work to immediately release the detainee Nasser Abu Hmaid, and all other detainees in the Zionist occupation prisons.
