The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas offers its condolences to the Palestinian people at home and abroad, on the death of Hajj Ibrahim Hassan Al-Sinwar, father of Gaza's Hamas chief, Yahya Al-Sinwar, who passed away today, Wednesday 12 January 2022, at the age of ninety.

As we mourn the deceased father, we recall his perseverance to return to his hometown, Asqalan, where he was displaced during the Nakba in occupied Palestine.

We express our sincere condolences to his family, relatives, and our Palestinian people.
