Head of Hamas Political Portfolio Abroad, Sami Abu Zuhri, said on Sunday evening that the decision by three main Palestinian factions to boycott the forthcoming Palestine Liberation Organisation's (PLO) Central Council meeting undermines its legitimacy. 

"The boycott puts the dominating few in the Palestinian Authority in the face of the Palestinian people," Abu Zuhri added in a press statement. 

Abu Zuhri pointed out that there is a Palestinian consensus not to allow some individuals to join the PLO's Central Council because of their connection to the Israeli occupation.
