The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has urged leaders of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Fatah to stop their careless toying with the Palestinian cause.

Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri slammed in a press release on Tuesday the withdrawal by PA representatives of a complaint filed against Israeli settlements at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) shortly after it was announced.

He urged the PA to opt for unity and abandon unilateral policies, adding that the only way out of the current national impasse is if the PA showed political will to reconcile with its national partners and not with the Israeli occupation.
