Head of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, has penned a letter to President of the Republic of Turkey, his Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to wish him, and the first lady of Turkey, a speedy recovery after contracting the Covid-19 virus.

"We've heard that your excellency and the first lady are infected with Covid-19, and on behalf of the movement’s leadership, we express our wishes for a speedy recovery," Haniyeh said.

Hamas chief added, "We in Hamas, along with the Palestinian people, pray to God Almighty for a speedy and complete recovery for your Excellency and the first lady of Turkey".
