Member of Hamas Political Bureau, Harun Nasser al-Din, confirmed that his movement's leadership sent messages to mediators that the occupation's actions in occupied Jerusalem and Sheikh Jarrah are akin to play with fire.

Nasser al-Din said that the occupation's defeat in the battle of "Sword of Jerusalem" might be repeated if these attacks continued.

"The colonial settlers’ setting up a tent in Sheikh Jarrah and storming the property of Salem’s family foreshadows the outbreak of new confrontation."

Stressing that our Palestinian people in Jerusalem will defend Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its neighborhoods, Nasser al-Din hailed the Palestinian people in the occupied Jerusalem for confronting the arrogance of the colonial extremist settlers.
