The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas vehemently denounces targeting churches and Christian property in occupied Jerusalem by the so-called Israeli occupation's Nature and Parks Authority. 

This is a grave escalation that should not go unpunished. 

The Israeli aggression against Palestinian property, whether Christian or Muslim, constitutes a blatant violation of human rights and international laws, which stated that settlement construction is illegal. 

Such assaults would not have taken place if not for the international silence and US support as some countries in the region received Israeli officials and leaders who have become so bold as to continue encroaching upon Palestinian rights and holy Chritian and Muslim sites.   

As we demand the international community to assume its responsibility to put an end to the Israeli occupation's crimes and racist policies, we call on the Palestinian people to intensify their struggle with it, fight off its schemes, and defend their holy sites.
