The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the death of 14-year-old Palestinian boy Mohammed Shehada who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the West Bank town of Al-Khader south of Bethlehem. 

Fatally shooting Shehada with live fire in cold blood and preventing medics from providing medical assistance to him reaffirms the brutality, sadism, and terrorism practiced by the Israeli occupation against defenseless Palestinian children and innocent civilians.  

As we offer our sincere condolences to Shehada's family and the residents of Bethlehem, we stress that his blood will spark an uprising in the face of the Israeli occupation until liberation and return. 

In light of such heinous crime, we call on Palestinian citizens of the occupied West Bank to escalate the fight against the Israeli occupation with all means possible and defend their children, lands, and holy sites until ending the Israeli occupation.
