Hamas mourned three children from al-Hindi family who died in a fire at Gaza’s al-Shati’ (Beach) refugee camp midnight yesterday.
In a press statement, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri held the Israeli-imposed, criminal siege responsible for the death of the three children.
He said that the Palestinian Authority and the Ramallah-based government share responsibility for the crime.
“The PA contributed to this crime with its discrimination against Gaza Strip and its insistence on taxing fuel needed for the Gaza power plant.” He said.
Abu Zuhri warned that the Israeli siege has made life in Gaza intolerable, urging the international community to intervene and put an end to the ongoing deterioration.
Gaza’s power and fuel shortage have led to the horrific death of three children who were burnt to death yesterday during a fire caused by a candle in their house.
